In the late 70's I visited Carlyle Pony Stud and fell head over heels for The Welsh Mountain Pony, beginning a lifelong passion.
Carlyle Secrecy became the foundation mare at Mosman Park (S Line). She was followed by Hazelmere Dionne (D Line), Loch Sloy Minerva (M Line) and Fairway Carnival.
Three Brierwood mares were purchased at various times Rosebud, represented in the F line, Fumble represented in the F and B lines and Victoria the V Line. There is also another M line from Imperial Maytime
There are descendants of all these mares in the stud today. Some as far as 5 generations on.
The first stud stallion was "Fairway Nigel", followed by "Fairway Gwyn", "Mosman Park Cruz" and "Mosman Park Minstrel"
